Acheli: Voyage (“Acheli”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. What Acheli does
Acheli helps users organize flights, road trips, collections, visited places, AI-assisted travel planning, travel stories, and premium features.
2. Information we collect
We may collect and process the following categories of information:
- Account information: Apple Sign In account identifiers, display name, email address including Apple private relay email when provided.
- Travel information: flights, boarding pass details, road trips, routes, dates, destinations, collections, visited places, saved stories, and related notes you create or import.
- Imported content: photos or files you choose to import, such as boarding pass images or documents.
- AI interaction data: prompts, chat messages, destination questions, generated summaries, and generated story or template requests.
- Purchase information: subscription status, token purchases, transaction identifiers, and entitlement status.
- App usage and diagnostics: analytics, crash reports, device and app interaction data, and performance information.
- Cloud backup data: travel data and saved state you choose to keep through your signed-in account.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide core app features
- import and organize travel records
- generate AI travel summaries, destination help, and story visuals
- sync and restore your travel data across reinstalls or devices
- process subscriptions, token balances, and purchase restoration
- send local trip reminders if you enable notifications
- improve app quality, performance, and reliability
- prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized use
4. AI features
Acheli includes AI-powered travel assistance and image generation. AI outputs are generated from the information you provide and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should verify important details such as prices, opening hours, tolls, vignette rules, transportation conditions, and entry requirements using official sources before relying on them.
5. Weather and route context
Acheli may use saved destination coordinates, route information, and planned trip dates to improve destination suggestions and summaries. Acheli does not require live device location for these features.
6. Photos and files
If you choose to import a photo or file, Acheli accesses only the item or items you select. Imported content is used to extract or store travel-related information and support features you request.
7. Notifications
If you enable notifications, Acheli may send local reminders about upcoming flights, drives, or destination assistance. You can change notification permissions in your device settings at any time.
8. Purchases and subscriptions
Acheli may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and consumable token purchases through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Purchases are processed by Apple, not by us directly. We use transaction and entitlement information to unlock premium access and token balances.
9. How we store and share information
We use service providers and infrastructure partners to operate Acheli, including services for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, cloud functions, cloud storage, and AI processing. We may share information with those providers only as needed to operate the app.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect users, our services, or the public.
10. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to operate Acheli, provide features you use, maintain backups, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of data.
11. Your choices
You can:
- sign out of your account
- delete all travel data from within the app
- delete your account from within the app
- disable notifications in device settings
- manage subscriptions through your Apple account
- choose whether to use cloud-backed features by signing in or not signing in
Deleting your account removes account-related data we control, except where retention is legally required. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel Apple subscriptions; subscriptions must be managed through Apple.
12. Children
Acheli is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
13. International processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on where our service providers operate.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Last updated date and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
